Homemade Maple Syrup

This homemade syrup is my version of pancake syrup — why buy from the store? Use 2 cups brown sugar for a thicker syrup.

Ingreadient

    • 1 cup water
    • 1 cup white sugar
    • 1 cup brown sugar
    • 1 tablespoon maple flavored extract

Direction

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. Bring water, white sugar, and brown sugar to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in maple extract.
  4. Simmer until slightly thickened, about 3 minutes.
