Homemade Maple Syrup

This homemade syrup is my version of pancake syrup — why buy from the store? Use 2 cups brown sugar for a thicker syrup.
Ingreadient
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon maple flavored extract
Direction
- Gather all ingredients.
- Bring water, white sugar, and brown sugar to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in maple extract.
- Simmer until slightly thickened, about 3 minutes.
